Hey there!
I’m Violetta - but you can call me Lotti. Nice to meet you!
I’m an Art Director and senior concept-driven Multimedia Designer with over 10 years of experience in branding, visual storytelling, and emotionally intelligent design. I combine hands-on creativity with team leadership, guiding small creative teams while shaping cohesive visual systems and long-term brand strategies.
Throughout my career, I’ve led visual directions, defined brand identities, and built cross-platform experiences that balance concept, emotion, and clarity. I thrive in projects where strategy, creativity, and execution intersect, ensuring that every idea translates into meaningful, impactful visuals.
Long before “emotional design” became a defined discipline, I was creating work guided by intuition, sensitivity, and a deep curiosity about human perception. My interest in inner awareness and contemplative philosophy continues to inform my creative thinking and leadership approach - not as a trend, but as a long-standing foundation.
I specialize in developing visual systems that go beyond aesthetics: brand identities, motion design, illustration, and experimental formats. I enjoy both crafting the conceptual vision and seeing it realized by the team I lead.
Alongside my professional work, I study Buddhist philosophy at Dharma Gate Buddhist College through distance learning, deepening a perspective that informs both my creative practice and leadership style.
I’m open to remote or hybrid roles where I can contribute by shaping visual direction, guiding creative teams, and building long-term brand impact.

Hobbies
My interests outside of design are deeply connected to how I think, observe and create.
They shape my sense of rhythm, attention and emotional awareness.

Rhythm, flow and emotional progression through sound. Creating drum & bass mixes is my way of working with rhythm, energy and emotional progression. It has a strong influence on how I approach pacing, motion and atmosphere in visual design.

Slowness, imperfection and conscious observation. Analog photography teaches me patience, intention and trust in the process. Working without instant feedback sharpens my sense of composition, light and emotional presence — qualities that deeply inform my visual thinking.

Observing balance, patience and interconnected systems. Maintaining aquariums taught me how subtle, often invisible changes affect an entire system. It’s a constant lesson in balance, long-term thinking and fine-tuning - principles I naturally bring into branding and visual systems.

Awareness, emotional sensitivity and inner attention. My long-standing interest in spirituality and mental health shapes how I approach emotional design. I pay close attention to subtle signals, inner states and the human side of visual communication.

Presence, observation and non-verbal communication. Living with two cats has made me more attentive to silence, timing and non-verbal cues - qualities that quietly influence my creative process and way of observing the world.

Direct expression, intuition and tactile thinking. Drawing and painting are my most immediate ways of thinking. Working by hand allows intuition to lead, without interfaces or constraints. It’s where ideas first take shape - raw, imperfect and emotionally honest - before they evolve into more structured visual systems.
