A Detergent Brand

In spring 2024 I was asked to create a brand for a fictionary supermarket, as Scala was planning to launch a new booth with a new look and feel for the upcoming tech trade show season, where the target audience were mainly supermarkets and convience stores.

 

The goal was to create a believable, yet somewhat still commercial retail atmosphere with several digital signage touchpoints around the store. The task included physical products as well as video ads and other design elements.

The Challenge

  • Create a brand that feels real and believable

  • Design products in two scents: laundry detergent and fabric softener

  • Develop physical products and shelf-ready packaging

  • Add interactive elements for a trade show: shelf-edge screens highlighting special offers

  • Produce video ads to showcase the brand and products

My Approach

  • Created the logo, color palette, and packaging system

  • Differentiated products for scents and types while keeping the brand cohesive

2. Physical shelf experience

  • Designed products ready for display on the trade show shelf

  • Built interactive shelf-edge screens to communicate special offers in real-time
